Spider-Man star Tom Holland has joined Prada in a partnership, where the young actor fronts the spring/summer 2022 menswear campaign, named In The Mood with Prada.
This collection comes from designers Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons.
Holland shared images from the campaign on social media: 'Undress with @prada #PradaSS22 #Prada'.
The Italian luxury fashion house explained that this campaign wants to “[re-contextualize] a figure world-renown for his action hero roles…
Holland here becomes an embodiment of today’s Prada man.”
Prada continued to state:
“The power of acting is to draw on a well of personal experience to convey a mood, an emotion and feeling that, while fiction, borrows its fact from the performer’s own humanity.
These images cement minute actions and reactions, close and gentle moments — the rapport between garment and body, gestures of dressing and undressing alive within the imagery.
Instead of a cinematic panorama, Tom Holland is portrayed via portraits, intimate and real.”
The series of advertisements were photographed by David Sims,
showing off Holland's body where the actor wears a cardigan and trousers, a luxe biker jacket over a polo and trousers, and a white shirt with black designs.
