Roger Federer has partnered with the Swiss national tourism board, Switzerland Tourism (ST), becoming an official ambassador to attract tourists to the country.
On MySwitzerland.com, guests will be able to see Switzerland’s gems with the help of the 20-time Grand Slam champion and their favourite tourist guide. Travel tips include Federer’s best of Swiss nature, mountain trips, hiking trails, hidden gems and city experiences.

Federer commented, "I have always felt, whenever I step on the court, I am representing Switzerland. Whenever it says my name, there is a Swiss flag next to it. I have been very proud to do that for the first 22 years I have been on tour, and it will always be like that. To join forces with ST now is a logical step for me."
A noted philanthropist, Federer will be donating his whole compensation to a great cause.
“I have been all over the world,” says Federer. “My favourite place has always remained Switzerland. It’s the country I miss the most, when I’m traveling.
“For me also important was that all the money you do pay me, I give it on for a good cause, for charity. We gonna be building playgrounds here in Switzerland. For me that was an important aspect as well.”
