With the help of a roster of famous ambassadors, Veganuary has begun registration for its tenth annual campaign.
A vegan diet and lifestyle are encouraged for the entire month of January for those who sign up, with the aid of daily emails and other tools. Ads with catchy themes like "Power to the PEA-ple" and "Where there is hummus, there is hope" boost the cause.
The Made in Chelsea actress Lucy Watson, the French chef Alexis Gauthier, and the X-Men actor Famke Janssen are the 2023 Veganuary ambassadors. In the coming year, the podcast and YouTube series for Veganuary will both feature Lucy Watson and Alexis Gauthier.
“Loving animals and eating them too never made sense to me; that’s why I went veggie aged six and then later turned to veganism,” said Lucy Watson. “It was the best decision I’ve ever made, and I’ve enjoyed it so much more than I could have ever expected. It feels good to do the right thing. I know it can be a daunting prospect for some, but Veganuary is here to help guide you.”
