Irina Shayk takes the spotlight as the face of Burberry’s pre-fall 2020 fashion campaign. Captured by Danko Steiner, she poses in polished studio portraits against a studio backdrop.
The campaign is ushering in a new era at the luxury fashion house, as Riccardo Tisci reimagines pieces from the Burberry archive. Fresh iterations of iconic pieces include check overlaid with camouflage and quilting re-energised with bold colours.

“I have always been drawn to the notion of duality and viewing things from two perspectives, bringing a depth and contrast to a person or a concept.” Riccardo said.
“This campaign explores this idea of mirroring, a theme which I established as a house code in the new Burberry identity.”
Riccardo collaborated with a world-renowned creative team for his latest campaign, including stylist Ana Steiner, Burberry Global Beauty Director Isamaya French and hair stylist Gary Gill.
The campaign represents a reinforcement of the fashion house’s refreshed identity under Riccardo who’s time at Burberry has been nothing short of transformative.
Irina Shayk received international recognition when she appeared as the first Russian model on the cover of the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Models.com ranks her as an "Industry Icon".
