Malaysia's virtues as a tourism destination will soon be extolled by FC Barcelona's Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez.
Tourism Malaysia has sealed an endorsement partnership deal with Luis Suarez for a year-long collaboration, following a contract signed between Tourism Malaysia and Mediapro, the footballer's Asian representative.
The deal is expected to drive interest for Malaysia as a tourist destination.

Minister of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, Dato' Sri Mohamed Nazri Aziz, comments, "We are excited to be working with Luis Suarez who has proven to be not only among the world top-ranking footballers but also a respected community leader. As a hero to millennials, Suarez is an inspiration to many and we hope that this title and acknowledgement will shine the limelight on Malaysia as a tropical holiday destination that appeals to the millennial spirit for travel and adventure."
