The French-American actress Lily-Rose Depp has been tapped by Chanel to star in the brand’s latest advertisement campaign for the Chanel 22 bag, The American Way of Life. Chanel’s new campaign on the sought-after shoulder bag was directed by duo Inez and Vinoodh and is intended to be revealed in two parts: a sequence of photographs, which were made public on Wednesday, April 6, and three films that will soon be released. Having served as brand ambassador for Chanel for a few years, the actress joins Whitney Peak and Margaret Qualley as the stars of this advertisement. Each actress will feature in their own short film setup against the backdrop of their childhood homes, from Los Angeles to rural Montana. Chanel shared campaign images on Instagram, captioned: 'The CHANEL 22 bag, as refined as it is vital. Its shape is that of a cushion - to which one's secrets and keys, one's tastes and needs can be entrusted entirely. Actress and House ambassador Margaret Qualley embodies the campaign for the CHANEL 22 bag'. Brand partnerships with celebrities, brand ambassadors and public personalities have been shown to increase both sales and brand awareness THREE times more than a similar campaign without.
