The sports industry is where Cotton On is looking to find its newest brand ambassador.
NBA player Josh Giddey has been chosen by the Australian clothing company to serve as its new spokesperson. The 20-year-old Australian, who competes for the Oklahoma City Thunder as a shooting guard and small forward, is launching the ambassadorship by taking part in a commercial for Cotton On's denim and T-shirt lines.
“I’m excited to be joining the Cotton On brand, especially with them being one of the biggest fashion forces born right out of Australia,” Josh Giddey said. “It’s special to have a little bit of home with me and I look forward to what’s to come.”
Josh Giddey was chosen as a brand ambassador by Cotton On, according to a statement, for his easygoing yet fashionable look. Giddey is well-known for posting his colorful array of Nike sneakers and streetwear-meets-sportswear outfits on his Instagram account, which has more than 414,000 followers.
“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Josh to the Cotton On family, and proud to have him on as a men’s brand ambassador,” said Cotton On general manager Dom Ralton. “Josh is a fantastic fit for the brand, as he encompasses our core values. We are so excited to see this partnership come to life over the next 12 months.”
The newest well-known person to collaborate with Cotton On is Josh Giddey. Actress Sydney Sweeney from the movie "Euphoria" was chosen by the company in June to appear in their Cotton On Body sportswear campaign, where she sported clothes from the line while posing by a pool and on the beach.
