Manchester City and England goalkeeper Joe Hart has been appointed the new face (and body) of Head & Shoulders, the UK’s No.1 selling shampoo. He joins current celebrity ambassadors Jenson Button and Mark Cavendish, among others. In line with its own performance on the supermarket shelves, Head & Shoulders hires the UK’s No.1 Goal Keeper, Joe Hart to represent the brand. Hart is said to be the the Premier League’s best performing Goal Keeper following his display of skill at the 2012 UEFA Championships. He comments, ‘I have used head & shoulders for years, so I am really excited to be working with the brand. Like millions of British men it has always been a key part of my grooming regime as I know it’s a product I can rely on. When I’m on the pitch I need to be at my best, If I look good I feel good too and head & shoulders gives me that extra confidence I need so I can focus on what really matters – saving goals and winning games. Many players have rolled the dice over the years by promoting various shampoo brands, from David Ginola to Jason McAteer, with varying results.
