Iman makes a stunning cover for Vogue UK's January 2023 issue. Nadine Ijewere's photographs of the supermodel from Somalia yield two pictures. She is dressed in a Norma Kamali gown and skull cap with red Sun Woo gloves in the first photograph, which was styled by Kate Phelan.
On a different cover, she is pictured wearing an Alaa dress with Norma Kamali flared leggings and Alexis Bittar bangles. On December 20, British Vogue's January edition will be available for purchase. Iman's hair is being styled by Jawara as Grace Ahn applies dramatic eye makeup to complete her look.
“People are starting to feel like, ‘We’ve done enough.’ As if we are a charity. Don’t give me a handout, because that in itself is a racist act. The reason a lot of [racist] things are happening in our industry is because there is nobody [non-white] in decision-making positions. These people exist. So this idea that we are asking for a seat at the table… I’m done with the seat at the table. Let’s just dismantle the whole table.” Iman said.
