Together, Billie Eilish and Nike (NYSE:NKE +1.29%) are bringing an eco-friendly Air Force 1 Low collection to market to cap out the year. This is the follow-up to her prior Air Force 1 High collaboration from earlier this year as well as her Jordan Brand line, which included an Air Jordan 15 and an Air Jordan 1 KO with volt-covered uppers.
The pop artist Billie Eilish wanted to emphasize sustainability when coming up with the idea for this most recent initiative with the Swoosh. The upper half of the two-pair capsule are adorned with tonal, scrap-like shapes that offer a geometric appearance. If you scan them, you'll see this. This is due to the fact that Eilish used every last scrap of material from the aforementioned Air Force 1 High capsule to construct the presentation of this fresh set of Nike sneakers.
When reflecting on her thought process behind the collaboration, Billie Eilish said, “I want my collaboration with Nike to tell a story that not only highlights the importance of recycling but also reminds us that we need to take better care of our planet.”
